From Mehring in the south-eastern part of the Mosel valley we took a slow day drive past vineyards and through picturesque villages along the Mosel.
Obviously one must stop in Zues-Berncastle for lunch (for some Würstchen mit Senf und Brot or at the Konditorei) and some shopping
- the last part is always a trip across the Hunsrück along the Hochstraße to Boppard on the Rhein.
